"Creative Gluten-Free Recipes Made Easy"
The Human Behind The Screen
I'm Aya, a wife, an engineer, a photographer, a painter, and finally, a baker, or so I would like to consider myself. I fell in love with baking as a child. I used to watch my mother bake all the time and decorate cakes. I may have also made multiple visits as a child to the bakery next to my mother's workplace and asked the chef to give me fresh and warm orange cupcakes. Now that I'm older, I realize I should have paid for those. I think Mum took care of it.
As I got older, I started baking myself and experimenting with recipes. I used to take my recipes to school and university for my classmates to try and rate on a scale of 1 to 10. After graduating from University and marrying my best friend, I got ill. Little did I know that the source of my illness was gluten. Initially, I refused to accept it as I thought I couldn't enjoy good food again. I won't lie; I did fall into a denial phase. However, I couldn't ignore the symptoms anymore.
Fast forward to today, and I think I finally reached peace with having celiac disease. I managed to work my way around things and make my favorite recipes into gluten-free recipes. And the best thing about it all is that now I can share them with you.
